Take a look at the nickel mines where the metal is harvested to make "green" vehicles go, they're some of the worst polluters on the planet. Even though the hummer sucks as far as emissions, it's expected lifespan of over 300,000 miles means that when you consider everything that's put into it, the Hummer is better for the environment than a Prius, who'se lifespan is only about a third of that. Fuel efficiency is a relatively small part of making real eco-friendly automobiles. Do your research before you completely trash something like that.
