		<description>Well it wasn&#039;t really the surprise that segregation existed. My Mom always told me stories of this when she was a teenager. I think I was mainly surprised at how blunt the site was I guess. I think it puts across a point and reminds people of when this went on. It is crazy to imagine that people thought this was ok and it lasted for as long as it did. Thanks for the response!</description>

Perhaps because I am old enough to remember when this was all too common and real for people of color. Although I am white, this enraged me then and still pisses me off that it was allowed to go on as long as it did, and that we have yet a long way to go before everyone judges people on their character not color. Thanks for reminding us though Random guy!</description>
